Three things you need to know about mental training and concentration:

You cannot think your way into better concentration.  You need to train attention, like a mental muscle. (reference - Dr. Amishi Jha, author of Peak Mind)

People with no previous concentration training experience can benefit from 10 minutes of concentration and perform better. (reference, Sian Beilock, author of Choke)

My friend and colleague Dr. Peter Haberl, Senior Sport Psychologist from the United States Olympic Committee says,
“Attention is the currency of performance.” Let increase your performance currency!!!

Let’s build this currency and improve Focus and Feel as you head into the mid-part of the golf season. For less than some green fees and definitely less than a new club.

Tara has been engaged in the field of mental performance for over 25 years and has accumulated a lot of materials and experiences working with golfers from throughout Eastern Canada.  Including instructing mental performance to teaching professionals in the Holland College Golf Management and Golf Professional programs.  I have happily supported many local golfers to provincial titles, personal bests at Nationals, Canada Games and more recently a Canadian Junior golfer to winning his first CJGA Canadian Invitation.

Testimonials

“Tara, I just wanted to let you know that my last event after our session, I went and won the CJGA Canadian Invitational”

“Through both group sessions and private sessions, Tara helped me get over the hump of being a player with potential, to one who is able to tap into that potential more often and at the most important times.  Literally all of my best rounds are during tournament play, and I can give a lot of credit to Ahead In The Game for getting me there.”
Martin O’Brien, Mid-Amateur Provincial Golf Champion.
