She is a team member of the Canadian Center for Mental Health in Sport. She has provided training to National and World Curling Champions, Canadian Tennis Champions, Para-Olympic Gold Medalists, Junior Olympic World Medalists, Professional and Top Amateur Hockey and Soccer Players, National and Varsity Basketball Players & Programs, Special Olympic National and Provincial Programs, and a depth of experience consulting with a variety of professionals interested in mental performance skills, habits for peak well-being and mental health.

She has been guest presenter and consultant at McMaster Medical School Department of Surgery Annual Retreat and National Bank Open ATP/WTA Professional Tennis Tour. Retreat-development coordinator and experiential facilitator for various professional organizations.

Tara Costello-Ledwell has devoted her life and career to the development knowledge and application of mindfulness, mental skills and behavioral habits for peak performance and meaningful living. Foundationally, Tara’s consulting stems largely from fields of positive psychology, performance psychology, modern neuro-science of mindfulness, equine facilitated learning, and experiential/ adventure based personal growth approaches.

She's been an athlete herself, playing varsity and Canada Games Field Hockey, a marathon winner and long-distance runner, recreational golfer, as well as competes in western-equestrian pursuits. She is a business owner, a teacher, a wife, a mother, and has a big love of animals.  She’s always increasing her skills and knowledge.
